'Ornatum' has a rounded habit with long, thin, lobed leaves that are bronze-red when young, turning to green, then crimson red in autumn.
Site & Soil: Grow in fertile, moist, well-drained neutral to acid soil in full sun to partial shade. Avoid South facing locations.
Hardiness: Hardy in all of UK and northern Europe.
Eventual Height & Spread: 2.5-4m x 1-1.5m.
Other: Leaf scorch can be caused by lack of soil moisture or excessive exposure. Suitable for containers but attention to water is needed in dry spells during the growing season.
