'Shirazz' is an upright, spreading, to arching shrub or small tree with deeply lobed, palmate leaves, emerging purple with reddish pink margins, turning to olive green with irregular cream or pink margins before becoming orange-red in autumn. Plant in a sheltered, partly sunny location in moist, well-draining soil.
Site & Soil: Grow in fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Water in summer if necessary. Leaf colour is best in partial shade, although full sun can be tolerated.
Hardiness: Hardy in all of UK and northern Europe.
Eventual Height & Spread: 4-8m x 2.5-4m.
Other: Leaf scorch can be caused by lack of soil moisture or excessive exposure.
