A variable small tree with small, deeply 5 to 7-lobed leaves often colouring well in autumn. Small red flowers in spring are followed by winged, red or green fruits.
Site & Soil: Grow in fertile, moist, well-drained neutral to acid soil in full sun to partial shade.
Hardiness: Hardy in all of UK and northern Europe.
Eventual Height & Spread: 4-8m x 4-8m.
Other: Leaf scorch can be caused by lack of soil moisture or excessive exposure.
