The Horse Chestnut is a large, broad-crowned deciduous tree. Leaves are large, with 5-7 leaflets, and will turn red-brown in early in autumn. Flowers are creamy-white with a yellow spot that turns red with age. Fruit large is large and spiny. Plant in partial shade to full sun in a sheltered or exposed location.
