A bushy tree, with a more upright habit than the species, with ascending then spreading branches. Tight clusters of small white flowers are surrounded by four large creamy-white bracts that become blotched pink with age, followed by deep pink fruit in strawberry-like clusters.

Additional Information

Site & Soil: Plant in humus-rich, neutral to acid soil in full sun or light shade. Leaves may scorch in late summer if grown in full sun in warm or hot climates. Dislikes shallow soils over chalk.

Hardiness: Hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe. Many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection.

Eventual Height & Spread: 4m x 4m.
