Cupressocyparis are large, very fast-growing evergreen trees of narrowly conical or columnar habit, with dense clusters of tiny scale-like leaves small spherical cones. Its foliage stands out in flat sprays of bright yellow to golden to bronze. Since it holds its colour year round, it is a plant of interest no matter what month. Location: Plant in well-drained soil in a partially shady to fully sunny location. Care: Pruning should be carried out regularly to keep in check and to enable cutting to be restricted to new shoots, as it will not sprout from old cut wood. Approx.
