Erysimum can be annuals, biennials or woody-based perennials with narrow leaves and dense, 4-petalled flowers. A bushy evergreen, ‘Bowles’s Mauve’ has slim, grey-green leaves and tall racemes of beautiful mauve flowers. Blooms appear from late winter into summer. They provide a rich source of nectar for beneficial wildlife. Will tolerate some coastal exposure. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun.
