'Aureomarginatus' is an upright, dense, evergreen shrub bearing oval, leathery, toothed, glossy, dark green leaves with wide, bright yellow margins. Insignificant, green flowers in spring are rarely followed by fruit. Plant in poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Pruning, when required, is generally carried out in mid to late spring.
