Malus are small to medium-sized deciduous trees with showy flowers in spring and ornamental or edible fruit in autumn. Suitable for colder, wetter areas, ‘Grenadier’ produces heavy crops of ribbed, pale green fruit. They are best used for cooking as their flavour is sharp and tangy when eaten raw. Plant in full sun in a sheltered location.
