With pale golden yellow canes up to 5m or more, ‘Aureocaulis’ is a great choice for adding colour to the garden, or as a screening hedge. The shoots will appear reddish when young but will lighten with age. They will sometimes grow in a zig-zag pattern. Foliage is lance shaped, with a healthy green colour. Plant in full sun to partial shade in a sheltered location as harsh winds and coastal conditions will not be tolerated.
