'Bannow Bay' is a compact, mound-forming, evergreen shrub with oval, glossy, grey-green leaves, creamy-white at the margins, the entire leaf turning maroon by winter. Small, fragrant, purple-brown flowers in late spring and early summer are followed by dark grey seed capsules.
