Pyracantha are evergreen shrubs or small trees, with spiny branches bearing small leaves and white flowers followed by showy red, orange or yellow berries. They are low maintenance and can grow nearly anywhere. The blossoms are loved by bees in the spring and the berries are appreciated by the birds for winter food. ‘Mohave’ produces striking orange-red berries.
